Diabetes Group Classes

Our Type 1 or 2 Diabetes Class is an 8-week program run by an Exercise Physiologist and Dietician.

Some of the benefits include:

  • Improved overall health and wellbeing
  • Improved cardiovascular fitness, balance, strength and flexibility
  • Improved management of blood glucose levels
  • Decreased risk of diabetes related complications
  • Improved mood and wellbeing
  • Learning about how food choices can impact your blood glucose levels

Sessions consist of a 30-minute education session with the dietician followed by 30-minutes of circuit-based training with our exercise physiologist.

If you have been diagnosed with Diabetes you may be eligible to receive 8 subsidised sessions with a valid referral from your GP. Contact our wonderful reception team to find out more.
