Paediatric Exercise Physiology is a therapy designed to help improve the health and wellbeing of Children. Our Exercise physiologist uses evidence-based treatment to create and tailor a fun exercise program focused on your child’s goals.

We can help manage the following conditions:

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Spinal cord or brain injury
  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Developmental Delay
  • Down Syndrome
  • Overweight/obesity
  • Diabetes
  • Juvenile Arthritis
  • Neurological disorders

Exercise Physiology can help to:

  • Improve gross motor skills e.g. running, jumping, bike riding
  • Improve sport related skills e.g. throwing, catching, kicking
  • Improve participation in school and community activities
  • Assist with emotional regulation
  • Improve social skills

If you have a NDIS plan you may be able to access Exercise Physiology services from the following
areas:

  • Capacity Building Early Childhood Interventions Supports (under 7yrs)
  • Capacity Building Improved Health and Wellbeing
  • Capacity Building Improved Daily Living

Alternatively, you may be eligible to access a chronic disease management plan through your GP or
claim rebates through private health insurance.
