Village Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Shellharbour

Back Pain Relief

Getting relief from back pain can be the key to getting you back to your daily life. Village Physiotherapy Shellharbour has practitioners experienced in giving you this relief. Although a broad term, we at Village Physiotherapy Shellharbour also take into consideration pain in the pelvic and hip region.

An assessment will be performed looking at your painful movements taking into consideration how other areas of your body may be contributing to your symptoms. Education forms a large part of management of back pain. We will help you manage your symptoms and prevent further injury.

Treatment may consist of clients receiving massage, joint mobilisations, dry needling and exercise prescription. However, we are all individuals so treatment will vary between clients. If you have had scans of your spine, hips, or pelvic region we ask that you bring them with you to your consult. Our clinicians will be able to educate you surrounding the findings and your symptoms on your initial consultation.

Our clinicians understand that sometimes your pain can be debilitating preventing you from working or living your daily life. Most of all, if you have severe pain we will aim to see you on the same day, so please contact our reception staff.
